Site Comments:

A cluster of LIA stone walled sites occur at the lower eastern foot slope of the Mukukunupu where dolerite was used in the construction of these sites. This cluster is one pf several in the general area which is composed of the varying numbers of individual sites that were grouped together to form villages which covered large surface areas. All these cluster of stone walled sites are located along the lower contours or along the spurs of mountains . The majority of theses sites are confined to mountains such as Mogare, Mmatone, Patshwane and Mukukunupu on Tuschenkomst 135 JP and Witkeifontein 136JP.
