Site Comments:
A number of stone heaps of unidentified context and function occur align the eastern border of Farm 306JP and within fluorspar resource areas to be mined. The heaps occur in the vicinity of farmlands and the stones might have been removed and collected to clear areas for agriculture. Since no diagnostic material culture was found in association with the features, it is not possible to ascertain a temporality for the structures but it might be assumed that the heaps are not of heritage value. The features are located in areas demarcated for mining and impact on the sites will likely occur.
