Site Comments:
Old station building, according to its style and the material used in it's construction, this building probably dates to the 1940s. It is similar in style layout and materials as other stations on the same line, eg. Dryden and Argent. Unfortunately, the building is fenced off, and has an alarm that goes off when anybody goes to or near to it. No access could be obtained. This site represents the remains of the technology and style of life that became redundant due to cessation in demand of its original purpose. Such site representing industrial heritage are usually few and far between and therefore the destruction of a single such site would have a proportionate high impact on the occurences of similar features in the larger landscape.
