Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

This is the Proposed 16 MTPA Expansion of Transnet's existing Manganese ore export railway line & associated infrastructure between Hotazel and the Port of Ngqura, Northern & Eastern Cape. Part 1: Hotazel to Kimberley, Northern Cape. 

Cultural landscape, historical buildings and old railway line has been identified in the Ulco station with GPS coordinates of S28°21'52.75"; 24°18'22.01"E. This site is located 65 metres west in relation to the railway line.
