Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Visual Description: THE MOORINGS No. 2 AND No. 3
Dwellings
inspected: September 1982
Double storey, 3-bay, SW façade:
Ground: plastered stoep wall and piers, steel roof sheeting. Centrally divided glazed and lower flush panelled teak door, fanlight, ovolo moulded frame, modern hardwood windows and door, 6-panel teak door in stop chamfer frame to Moorings No. 3.
First: various hardwood sashes.
Single storey, 4-bay, NE façade:
Old tuck pointed stone walls, plaster quoins and surrounds to hardwood casements. Connected to main building by timber framed and boarded covered ways.
Outbuildings: single storey, plastered brick, pitched roof, horned large pane sashes and batten doors. 1923 addition.
