Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: 3 Bay pitch-roofed house with verandah. Low-pitched roof covering the end gables. Arched louvred ventilators in end gables. Walls rusticated with shallow, smooth plaster pilasters flanking front door. Verandah with hipped bullnose roofwith fretwork fringes, wooden posts and trellis railings. Flared steps. Double door with single pane fanlight. 6 x 6 sashes with louvred shutters. Fire place in corner. Small out house with sashes,and reed ceilings. Garage to left under pedimented parapet and razor blade motif. Slated door. (Batlen)
Colours: White walls and green woodwork. White verandah. Yellowwood floors in house.
