Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: Elegant, restored corner house with balustrade parapet and stoep with pergola in both streets. Karoo-type roof with high stepped parapets in both streets with frieze, fine mouldings and balustrade with plinths and balls. Facade has moulded corner pilasters, plaster lable and mouldedplain architraves. Brick-paved stoep and pergola with heavy capped masonry pillars, also in Stockenstrom Street. 3 x3 panel door with fine geometric fanlight. Small pane French door with 2 pane fanlight and louvred shutters. 6 x 6 pane sash windows with louvred shutters in St. St. 2 casement windows with 8 x 8 panes and fanlight. left side has gate to passage. Extension in Stockenstrom Street with stepped parapet.
Colours: White walls and pillars, dark green woodwork.
