Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: Long 7 bay Karoo-type building set back in garden. It has two wings which are bay-shaped with splayed corners. The high parapets are heavily moulded. Walls are rusticated. Verandah along the whole front with concave roof, ornamental fretwork and wooden posts. Flag rail. Entrance is glazed and modern, but also half-glazed double doors with 2 pane fanlights. The splayed wings have Edwardian type casement windows. Also smal square casement windows between doors. High Edwardian(/) chimneys. Fine cast iron fence and gates along street. Palms and falkland pines in front.
