Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: Hipped pitched and gabled asymmetrical winged house with gabled wing and verandah on high foundation. Hipped roof with dormer ventilator with trunated finial and gabled wing with moulded gable with rounded top. Ninche in gable. Very high foundation. Eyebrow mouldings over door and window. High flared steps with dwarf walls. Stone plinth to gabled portion. High stoep (13steps up) with ogee roof and fretwork. Wooden supports and wooden railing with cross motif. Cellar underneath planked stoep. 4 panel (upper ones arched) door with 3 pane fanlight. Also entrance in Council Street with half glazed (geometric) door and 3 pane fanlight. 2 x 2 sashes with louvred shutters. Roofed bay on wing with 2 x 2 narrow sashes. 6 x 6 sashes with louvred shutters and heavy architraves on side of house. Simple hood moulds over openings. Boundary walls. Front masonary piers under (bagged) verandah with picket fence infill to left rear in Council. St Masonary wall with pyramidal pier and triangular coping. Garage flatroof, pedimented with strap moulded string course, stepped parapet to sides and wooden doors to rear of property in Council Street.
