Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation

History:
Visual Description: Long three-bay house with saddle-roof covering the end-gables. Finial at one end of the roof and a small, later dormer window to the right. Full verandah under ogee roof on precast pillars with straight front wall, drip fretwork under the roof and trelliswork at either end. Edwardian glazed door with 12-paned fanlight and 9x9-paned sash windows with louvered shutters. A fairly well-preserved house of local architectural value.
