Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History:
Visual Description: Long saddle-roofed corner building. Two short wings in front with covered end-gables with finials. Main end-gable on the side street is covered and has a five-sided bay window with three 1x1-paned sash windows, plaster decor and roof. On left of building is a Karoo-type extension. Full verandah in Church Street with ogee roof on wooden supports and with drip fretwork decoration. Modern pipe railing. The extension has a six-panelled door with plain fanlight. 2x2-paned sash windows with louvered shutters. Main part has four-panelled doors with two-paned fanlights, also a modern double glazed door. Wall has imitation ashlar decor with corner quoins and plain door and window surrounds. An interesting building of local architectural value.
