Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

History: This park, the history of which can be traced back to 1874, is the oldest park in Pretoria and forms an important green lung in the centre of the city. It was laid out in approximately 1890 and with its wrought iron bandstand, caretaker's cottage, kiosk and the nearby Melrose House, it forms an important Victorian unit in Pretoria.
