Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

History: The foundation stone of the main building of this school was laid on 17 July 1908. The school was officially opened on 15 April 1909 by General J. C. Smuts, then Colonial Secretary of the Transvaal. These buildings are good examples of Edwardian architecture and form an important link with the early history of education in Pretoria.
