Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation

History: The corner-stone of the Main Building of the Grey College complex was officially laid by President Reitz on 16 May 1894. The architect was W. H. Stucke. The Hamilton Hall, designed by Herbert Baker, was officially opened in 1907 by Sir Hamilton Gould-Adams, after whom the hall was named.
