Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

History: This blockhouse, which dates from 1901, was built of dolerite stone. During the Anglo-Boer War (1899-1902) it formed part of a line of similar blockhouses that was erected to protect the road link between the two railway lines that ran through Kimberley and Bloemfontein respectively.
