Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

History: The Bulwer Bridge is the oldest stone and steel structure in the Republic, while the Toll House is the oldest building in Colenso and also the only surviving toll house in Natal.
Visual Description: The Bulwer Bridge, as well as he historic Toll House, together with five metres of surrounding land, situated on Subdivision 1 of Lot 116, Colenso Township, in the Borough of Colenso, County of Weeneen, Province of Natal, and in extention.
