Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

History: Built in 1882 by William Charles Shaw, British settler who farmed in the Dargle and also managed a number of sawmills in the area.
Visual Description: Plastered brickwork, corrugated iron roof (originally thatch) with two small dormers on either side of entrance 'tower' topped by small attic, front verandah, casement and sash windows.Interior: Yellowwood floors, staircase, doors and attic panels, Alter Desc: original thatch roof replaced by corrigated iron, enclosure of back verandah and toilet.
