Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Factory site where tools were made. Cores, tools and flakes are found all over on the hill. The material used was obtained locally - hornfels and chert - and the tools were made on the spot. In places it has a density of at least 20 tools/flakes per 2 m2. Although some can be classified as dating to the Early Stone Age, most seems to date to the Middle Stone Age.
