Common Name: Site BRME3
Site Comments:

The site is easily identifiable by a fairly large overhang. The cave-like inside of the shelter remains open with stone walling restricted to a rough circular shape, measuring approximately 1.5-2m in diameter, constructed against the southern entrance wall of the shelter. Shelter floor deposits comprised only of fain grained soil, washed in during rainy weather, while deposits inside the circular shaped wall structure yielded fairly recent livestock dung. No artefactual remains were found in association with the stone stacked walls. The site is again relatively dated as post-dating 100 years of age: The site is not formally protected under the NHRA 1999, but does constitute a contemporary cultural heritage site.

Directions:
Site BRME3 is situated approximately 180m east of the proposed line route study site.
