Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Common Name: Site BRME5
The Site BRME5 enclosure is again mainly formed by natural stone, creating a cave-like stock enclosure. Small builtup walls cover crevices to cover entrances. Built-up walls are extremely limited, but serving to enclose a cave-like interior of about 3 roughly defined areas that can be used for stock keeping. Shelter floor deposits comprised only of fine grained soil, washed in during rainy weather, together with fairly recent livestock dung. No artefactual remains were found in association with the site.
