Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The site is Modova Primary School and consists of the main school buildings, 4 Stuff (teachers) accommodation and 2 other buildings ( toilet and showers ). The corner stone of the school was laid by Dr F Scmeling on 27 May 1961. As such the structure has no significant architecture of association and is not older than 60 years. However to maintain continuity, it is recommended that the corner-stone by removed and relaid as part of the foundation structure of the new school building.
