Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Alternate Code & Name: Site 12
Sites 12 dates to the Late Iron Age again and contains stone walled features such as livestock enclosures and hut bays. It is similar to the sites KAME001-006 although it is far less extensive and well preserved. This site is situated fairly close to the water reservoir in the area and has to some extent been impacted on already during the construction of the reservoir and the cell tower next to it. The site is located on top of a ridge/hill.
