Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Alternate Code & Name: Site 3
An Iron Age site was recorded toward the end of the pipeline. A lower grinding-stone, low concentration of scattered ceramic sherds and cattle enclosure dung deposit was recorded. Unfortunately, no diagnostic ceramics or features could be located during survey. The area has been disturbed by an electrical line and pipeline that already run through the area, thus the
integrity of the site and deposit has been compromised.
