Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Alternate Code & Name: Site 2
This is a graveyard containing at least 102 graves. The graves are either stone packed or have cement borders. Some have cement headstones and others stone headstones, but some are without headstones. Some of the surnames identified are Mthembu and Shamase. The oldest date of death indicated is 2001 and the youngest 2008. Most of the graves have no date of death indicated. This means that two of the three categories of graves are present being those with an unknown date of death (to be handled as those older than 60 years, called heritage graves) and those younger than 60 years.
