The most significant of these is Site 1 which is located at the low granite/norite outcrop and is similar to sites found during earlier surveys in the area (Pelser 2012: 16-18). Grinding surfaces are visible on the rocks, while a large amount of both decorated and undecorated pottery is located around the edges of and on top of the rock outcrop. The number of pottery fragments (representing various vessels) indicates that the site was used for a relatively 16 extensive period and this would warrant some archaeological investigation to determine the age and exact function of the sites’ use.
