Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Site Comments:

Two informal graves were identified at this location. The graves are crudely fenced and are placed next to each other and orientated from west to east. The graves have large oval shaped outlines of packed rock as dressings. A flat rock serves as head stone for one grave. A plastic bottle and ceramic cup were placed on the graves as grave goods. The graves are not maintained and are overgrown with grass and other vegetation.
