Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Current observation is a shell midden scatter, but is most probably part of a which may be covered by vegetatton' importance - Appears to be a Generally Protected IVA site, but may become a site of local r Grade r o IIIB site. grading Significance must first be established by testing before any recommendations/trigher
can be made (cunently low significance)' The site falls outside the footprint and is not directly under threat from the ProPosed development, but is indirectly under threat from the public' one would expect to The relatively flat area above site 3 and the demolished shack is an area where may cover sites' which
shrubs frnd shell middens. The area, however, is covered with dense low of some 20 x 20 Immediately above site 4, next to the track to the shack, is a relatively large area No other food or metres with fragmented shell. The shellfish content is similar to site RCF/sm4. culfural remains were found.
