Site Comments:
A Romanesque hall church, but with pointed-arch windows. On the eastern end is an apse, on the western end a pair of squat towers. The street side has a small transept and the main entrance is in the tower. The church was built in 1885 and the towers added in 1935. Along Marsh Street is an old stone retaining wall. This simple but dignified church with its grounds should be protected in the Town Planning Scheme and considered for proclamation as a national monument.
