Site Comments:

The site comprises the ruins of an old farmstead in amongst a forest of blue gum and pepper trees, which have completely overgrown the remains of the farmstead. The size of the trees, some of which are growing within the spot where the dwelling would have stood, underscores the length of time since this farmstead had been abandoned. It is clear that the site is older than 60 years and potentially older than 100 years as well. This means that if a midden is associated with the farmstead, it would be an archaeological site.
