Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The site is located along the length of the hill. It consists of a double row of “walling” . The ‘walling’ is more a single line of rocks that has been placed in a double row for ~500m. I originally thought it was a track that had been demarcated, however the more southeastern part has additional rows perpendicular to the main row, and the ‘track’’ is not totally cleared of rocks. The site may relate to the Siege of Ladysmith.
