Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The site is located on the top of a hill overlooking the Tsomo and Kei Rivers. We could get access to the site and have relied on aerial photography to demarcate the site . The site consists of approx. twenty settlements, of which seven are currently occupied. These span ~1.5km of the pipeline. The other thirteen settlements conform to the standard settlement pattern of the area. The site appears to date to the recent past.
