Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Directions:
From R34 drive through Empangeni, near prison turnoff, & take left at Robots (road lead to R102). Travel for 1km and turn right along dirt road (that leads up a hill). Site is on left hand side.

EMP01 is located near the northern part of the sewer, at the base of the hill.The site overlooks the river and consists of a few daga fragments. These fragments can be from a hut floor. One pottery sherd was observed. The daga was scattered over a wide area suggesting that it is not in tact.
