Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

This is the low stone walled remains of a workers dwelling. The walls are about 0.30 m high and the structure is rectangular with a size of approximately 8 x 3m. It seems to be consisting of three rooms, but due to the density of the vegetation, it is difficult to be accurate.Nothing else, such as a refuse midden and graves, was identified. It therefore seems that the building was not occupied for a very long time.
