Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

This site consists of five graves and the adjacent foundations of a house. The graves are demarcated by lined rocks
and have an east-west orientation (the headstones are not always clearly indicated). The graves have no inscriptions or clear headstone. The graves are situated on terraces on the eastern slopes of Tautes Heights mountain range.
The names and affiliation that were recorded in association with the graves are:
• Skiet Msweni (Women);
• Kleinboy Msweni;
• Jan Msweni; and
• [no first name] Msweni (a child/juvenile)
The date of the burials could not be determined and no recent grave offerings were noted. However, the area around the graves has been cleared.
