Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The site consists of the square foundations of two single room houses. The one foundation is large (10 x 6 metres) and constructed with bricks. The second smaller foundation is constructed with stones. The site is situated adjacent to Site 7.
Although no substantial midden was recorded, several pieces of glass were noted on the surface. These houses probably served as farm labourer accommodation and probably date to the early 1900s. The structures are probably older than 60 years and are therefore protected by the NHRA (Actno 25 of 1999).
