Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Common Name: Farm: Olrig 1710
A low density scatter (1/5m2 ) of MSA stone tools (blades and scrapers) and flakes was identified at the eastern foot of the hill located in the south-western corner of the study area. The material used is hornfels (much weathered). Unfortunately, this area has been disturbed by old borrow pit activities, which would have had a negative impact on the distribution of the tools and flakes.
