Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

The grave site occurs at 185 m to the north of Alternative 2 railway line. This site will not be impacted upon negatively by the construction and/ or operational activities of the railway line as it occurs more than 20 m away from the edge of the construction corridor of the proposed rail way line.

There are at least ten (10) graves at the site. The informant Mr Sibeko believes the grave site to be about 60 years old.
