Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Alternate Code & Name: Structure I
Structure I represents an old farm house ruin . This structure appears to be over 60 years and would be protected by the NHRA. It is however situated at about 93 m north of the proposed conveyor belt and would therefore not be impacted upon negatively by the proposed construction corridor of the conveyor belt as it occurs over 20 m from the edge of the construction corridor of the conveyor belt. Therefore there will not be any negative impacts upon this structure and no further mitigation measures are required.
