Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Shell midden destroyed by construction of informal parking area. A concrete dwelling on the site has also been demolished. Crushed shellfish comprises Black Mussel & limpet species, including a few large C. granatina, and whelk. In-situ shellfish is visible at the edges of the parking area, while patches & scatters of shellfish occur among low hummock dune on the sea side 1-2 quartzite flakes & chunks, modern glass, concrete blocks, clay bricks, and a tiny piece of pottery
