Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

Following comments received on the proposed Revised Schedule of Fees for applications made to the South African Heritage Resources Agency (SAHRA), made in terms of Section 25(2)(l) of the National Heritage Resources Act No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) and published in the Government Gazette of 22 July 2022, SAHRA hereby publishes the final Revised Schedule of Fees for Applications made to SAHRA. Applications for provision of services submitted to the South African Heritage Resources Authority (SAHRA), in terms of the National Heritage Resources Act, No. 25 of 1999 (NHRA) must be accompanied by a payment of the appropriate fee, taking effect from 1 January 2023

The clearance of two hectares of indigenous vegetation required for development and related operation of four (4) broiler units each with a holding capacity of 50 000 broilers on Portion 15 of Broekmanfontein Farm No:294 JO within the jurisdiction of the Ramotshere Moila Local Municipality in the North West Province. The development will entail the following: • Clearance of two hectares of indigenous vegetation • Development of four boiler units (147m X 16.5m) • Erecting a fencing • Installing Boiler Heating System • Installing Boiler and Bunker Slab • Establishing Ablution facilities. The site is located 20km South East of Zeerust Town. The total extent of the area for the proposed site is two hectares (2ha). The project will be established on two locations on the same farm with coordinates 25o 41′ 29.72″ 26o17′ 8.15″ and 25o 41′ 31.15″ 26o 17′ 0.63″.
