ProposalDescription:

Alterations and additions to existing house at 102 St.Andrews Drive, Erf 2519 Durban North, KwaZulu Natal.

Expanded_Motivation:

The original date of construction is estimated to be between 1945 and 1950. The existing house is double-storey with little historical architectural detail. The roof was substantially altered in 2010. St.Andrews Drive is a narrow residential street that runs between Dorrington Cr. and Beachway. Adjacent properties are typical Durban-North single-storey houses with high boundary walls. The owner wishes to add a roofed, outdoor entertainment area to the South East side of the house. The existing bar area is to be roofed with an awning-type roof. Proposed alterations : Demolish existing SE veranda roof, build new covered veranda and screen wall, add new awning roof over pool room.
