Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Prism.EMS 08/02/2021 - 11:27 This serves to notify you, as a registered I&AP, that the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (GDARD) has decided to grant the Environmental Authorisation for the proposed development of Portion 260 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ and associated roads and services on surrounding properties on 3 February 2021. The Environmental Authorisation authorizes Hocom Properties (Pty) Ltd. to develop a mixed-used development on Portion 260 of the Farm Rietfontein 189 IQ as well as related services including a sewer pipeline on adjacent properties in terms of Activity 9, 12, 19, 24, 27 and 28 of Listing Notice 1, and Activity 4, 12 and 14 of Listing Notice 3 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulations, 2014 (as amended). Attached, please find a copy of the notification letter together with a copy of the Environmental Authorisation. We do appreciate your input into the Environmental Authorisation process.
