Changes to SAHRIS!

The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:

  • A new & modernised look and layout
  • Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
  • Improved site performance and stability

Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

jonathan.sharfman 04/07/2012 - 10:27 The Maritime and Underwater Cultural Heritage Unit is of the opinion that this application should be discussed with the dive community in Port Elizabeth. We have not been able to travel to the site to make an assessment, but we believe it is a popular diving attraction. The Unit is also of the opinion that more information regarding the applicants intentions and methodology should be requested.
