The timber deck also eliminates the difficult and expensive exercise of landfill from off site to the lower garden. New timber deck at the swimming pool area. New dry stack retaining wall. Deviations to a previously approved plan 159 06 13 The New roof cover over the balcony to shade the windows and doors as well as to improve the use of the balcony and the aesthetics of the building. The swimming pool was reshaped, rotated and resized as per the owner's choice. This has improved the pool surround with a reduced solid platform, intern this effected the retaining wall and respective stairs to the lower level garden's height, position and shape. A timber deck with stairs replaced the solid platform, this is to be built on approval. The area under the staircase was converted into a gardener's toilet transforming dead space into a useful room.
