Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

User was only logged into workstation. Assisted user with understanding difference between Desktop login and Network Login. User logged into network successfully.
I have managed to convince her to user her Laptop and when in office she can plug in the desktop screen. So we agreed on that solution.
There was a problem with the network point at that office but sorted also the user has been linked to the printer
Purchased 6 jacks and 6 boots and computer mania for IT Technician - in order for him to resolve problem at Archeo Unit
The PC which is in my office belongs to Melissa at Built Environment Unit. She is currently using a loan laptop from Head Office. Can you have a look at the pc plse.

After research and phoning three different VIP helpdesk consultants, the matter was finally resolved. It was not related to the server and/or the mail system. The problem was with the HR Admin account, which did not have sufficient "approve" rights. Danie from ESS assisted myself and Tracy and the problem was identified and resolved.

Requested user to see if she has logged into network or workstation only. User confirmed she was not logged into network. Requested user to reboot and ensure workstation is not ticket. User logged in successfully.
