Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

CBL Removal
Removal of the IP address 196.211.116.254 from the CBL is now pending.
This means that your removal request has been accepted and your IP address WILL be delisted as soon as possible.
The CBL lookup page will already show that the IP address has been removed, but it takes a little longer for mail servers to notice the removal.
It should take no more than an hour or two before all servers that use the CBL notice the removal. Do not contact us to try to speed up removal - it's not possible to speed it up any more than it already is. Please be patient.

Attached is a doc he left.
He also managed to pack all the items which need to be written off into one section of the Server Room. You can check when you get there.
We need those items listed by you and then removed as soon as possible, as the auditors already commented on the server room being a "storage room", which is not acceptable.

1.For very long I was searching for the graves of this ± 14 people that dead in this camp in 1902
With someone else this graves was 'discoverd' were they were reburied in 1925.
But there are no stone to commemorate these victims of war.
Something else I also would like to have done by a local man is to have 2 graves lead letters fix at Aberdeen I think about 20 + of this lead letters are missing on the 2 gravestones.
This 2 young men [ Lontd & van Heerden] fell in the ABW and was buried there in the towns cemetery.
This man that would fix the lead lettering is Keith Baatjies from Port Elizabeth.
I will get a quote from him and will personally take him to Aberdeen and back about 450km and oversee the project.
Then 2 men [Davis & Claassen] were executed in Somerset east and nowhere in town are they remembered, there is a war monument were we can put up a small marble plague.

The IP address of that server is being blocked by more than one service provider and mailserver across the globe, because it has picked up spamming from one of the computers/notebooks in that building.
All users must run a FULL scan on their PC's as requested previously.
All users must check that their Panda software is updating
I will thereafter come on site and run walware software as well.
The virus has to be found and cleaned, otherwise that IP will continuously be blocked.

This matter will need to go over to IT Technician when appointed.
Despite intervention, which seemed to resolve the problem on the day, the user has reported again that it only works on some "ledgers" and others still wont open. Will need to escalate this back to AccTech and Lateral Dynamics for further investigation.
Went on site. Uninstalled client on three pc's and reinstalled client 3 x without success. Problem may be as a result of gwise po crash. Awaiting feedback from Lateral Dynamics.
