Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Have informed Jenty - who said he would look into it.
MSWord and other applications "not responding". PC is very slow. Recommend that new laptop be given asap.
The IT Manager did trouble-shoot this problem. A solution was not available, and due to upgrade notebooks, pc having arrived it was decided at a meeting held on 10 April that this user will receive priority in terms of replacing existing pc with notebook.
Assisted user telephonically to change advanced login setting for NMAS. User will report back when pc is rebooted to indicate if problem is resolved.

Glad to hear it finally "woke" up.
I guess a check up wont be a bad idea. Luvo is snowed under at the moment, as we have some major projects underway.
Do you mind hanging in there for a while, unless it gives you further problems, in which case we will need to have it here to
check.

My computer miraculously loaded the desktop, after several more restarts. I haven't had this problem before, but if it comes up again, I'll give you a call/log a call. Should I bring it to IT for a check up? If so let me know when you or one of the others will be available.

IP block problems occurred. Have requested unlisting.
Will ask user if problem still exists.
Problem resolved. Was due to change over from adsl to fibre. Routing reported to internet service provider - tested and working. Sent email to all staff.

Report back from Luvo - matter has been resolved.
Hi Nic - There is no password. The technicians from the copier company provided us with a web interface and we simply add users to scan to email. No password/pin was required or given. Luvo is on his way to assist now.
