Changes to SAHRIS!
The South African Heritage Resources Information System (SAHRIS) has undergone a generational upgrade and restructure. These changes to the site include, but are not limited to:
- A new & modernised look and layout
- Improved site usage flows with respect to applications and content creation
- Improved site performance and stability
Launch for the new version of SAHRIS occurred on Monday the 30th of October 2023.

Contacted ESS, spoke to Andre (012 - 420 7379). He resent the sql script to be executed to me, as it was not sent through with emails from Jenty/Tracy.

Please note that according to IT records this users contract ended on 10 December 2012.
She was locked out of the IT systems as per our procedures and auditor requirements, as IT was not informed that this
contract has been extended.
Please advise and provide the necessary paperwork.

New PC can be used for IT Technician. PC already has all required software installed. Simply needs to be
plugged in.
This user will join the Archaeology unit. She will be seated in the open space area below the spiral staircase. IT Technician to check network connection via port located there already. A new pc from the box of pc will need to be allocated. The pc's have been set up already.
This user will sit in the Heritage Objects Unit. There is a PC already. The username is inintial and surname and the password is Password123 for both email and server. User may need assistance when she comes.
User may need a pc. One of the new pc's from the boxes in IT Technician office can be allocated. IT Technician to set up pc. User name is initial and surname and password is Password123 (for email and server)
User knows how.

PC will not boot up. Keeps returning to dos prompt screen, and wont work in safe mode / network mode etc.
IT Officer issued new pc (from IT Technician office) to DSibayi.
IT Technician to check pc and report back on outcome.
