ProposalDescription:

The relocation of the KwaZuluNatal Museum to a new museum complex at 96 Jabu Ndlovu Street, Pietermaritzburg, KwaZuluNatal

Expanded_Motivation:

The KZN Museum currently located at 237 Jabu Ndlovu Street has out-grown it's premises and requires a larger, modern building for exhibitions, storage of collections, workshop space and visitors centre. Off-street parking is required for buses and visitors. The old St. Anne's Sanatorium property offers existing buildings and space for expansion and new buildings.
